Meet Kathy Mason (Principal Owner)
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and a Master of Urban & Regional Planning degree from Virginia Tech, Kathy Mason began working in new home sales for Fortune 500 Homebuilders. Through those experiences she gained a knowledge of construction financing, sales, builder positioning, and contract negotiating. While working she also obtained her real estate license and later began a construction company, Greater Capital Area Real Estate Development, in 2014.
With over $400 million in real estate sold since 2005, Kathy has expanded her real estate brokerage, The Real Estate Services, to ten states and Puerto Rico. Her love is the construction of spaces; her favorite part is the architecture. Kathy now adds “farmer” to her title as she creates modernized, sustainable architecture in agricultural and farming spaces.
